After the prologue in Turin, Circo Italia continues the jurney through the most important events dedicated to art and design. the second stage will take place saturday, January 28th in Bologna, during Arte Fiera at Rizoma, via della Grada 11/A, starting from 18.00.

Testify! in Berlin
 

The exhibition Testify! The Consequences of Architecture, curated for the opening of the Netherlands Architecture Institute in Rotterdam by Lukas Feireiss, will open the 10th of February in Berlin at the Deutsches Architektur Zentrum (DAZ).

Restyling of a Shopping Mall in Rome

On 2nd December there will be the presentation of the restyling of the Shopping Mall Primavera, a project developed in collaboration with the IED Research Centre through a workshop with IED graduated designers. Picnic tables at MACRO museum

In occasion of the IED Design School's exhibition "New Design for New Relations", at MACRO museum in Rome, we designed a picnic table, thought as a working desk. It is in laminated wood and fully wired. Picture courtesy of Selena Mesoraca.

Block City exhibition

 

“The A101 Block City competition, organized for the Masshtab corporation in Moscow, envisioned the creation of a new city of 200.000 inhabitants near Moscow. The masterplan brief demanded that 80% of blocks have standard sizes. An open competition for the design of the blocks was organized. 210 architects from 20 countries took part – 147 projects are shown in this exhibition. They are presented here in the form of a catalogue from which and endless number of different cities can be built by simple replacing blocks with others”. Bart Goldhoorn

Our entry Urban Block is now on display inside the exhibition LIVING Frontiers of Architecture in the Louisiana Art Museum, close to Copenhagen.

Architecture and the City festival, San Francisco

Our shortvideo Castrum was selected for the 9th annual Architecture and the City festival, the nation’s largest architectural festival showcasing tours, films, workshops, exhibitions, lectures and more. It will be projected on 28th September at 5.30 p.m. in San Francisco Main Library, Koret Auditorium, 100 Larkin Street, San Francisco. Check the program.
